| Fred Rogers Memorial Scholars Present Master Classes |

Two recipients of the Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by the prestigious Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS), presented master classes at the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children’s Media on April 29 to encourage current Saint Vincent College students to apply for the scholarship. Rita Catalano, right, assistant director of the Fred Rogers Center welcomed, from left, Michele Fowble, manager of external relations for the Television Academy Foundation; Nancy Steingard, co-chairman of the Education Committee for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation; Sabrina Connell, a recipient of the Fred Rogers Scholarship who recently graduated from the University of Connecticut with a master of arts in puppetry; and Michelle Tessier, a recipient of the Fred Rogers Scholarship who completed her MFA degree at UCLA’s film school. Nearly 100 Saint Vincent students and faculty attended the presentations.
