Nine Saint Vincent College seniors, who actively participated in a number of theatrical performances during their tenure at the College, earned the honor to add their name to a block of the historic backstage wall in the Robert S. Carey Student Center. The custom goes back more than 50 years when the building originally opened and hundreds of Saint Vincent students have creatively added their names over the years. When students return to visit the campus as alumni, those whose names are on the wall always visit the backstage area to see their block and show it to their family and friends. Actors who placed their name on the wall include: sociology major Taylor L. Bianco of Aliquippa, history major Chad B. Bonifazi of New Alexandria, communication major Jared M. Bundy of Derry, accounting major Amy K. Janocsko of Homestead, Catholic Theology major Mary C. Phillips of Uniontown and psychology education major Eric Rajchel of Butler. Students who served on the production crew include: modern language French major Elizabeth A. Boggs of Apollo, environmental science major Karli S. Buday of Freeport and environmental science major Nathan T. Hoxie of Phillippi, West Virginia.
