Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center and the Center for Global Competitiveness are hosting a “U.S. Export Controls Compliance” conference” on Monday and Tuesday, March 15 and 16. This two-day conference will address export controls and regulations that fall under various governmental agencies, including the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security, the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of State. It will help companies to minimize exposure, liability and the risk in export transactions. Topics include export controls, ITAR, establishing an export management and compliance system, working with regulations, responsibility for transactions and the legal aspects of tailoring compliance to fit an operation. This conference qualifies for CLE and CPE credits. Cost is $600 for both days (early bird rate of $500 if registered by January 29). Registration is required. Seating is limited.
