The Paul A. Murray, Jr. Memorial Telethon Scholarship was established in 1986 by his beloved wife, Margaret, and family.   Mr. Murray was a graduate of the Class of 1950.  Every year three students are awarded this telethon scholarship based on their fundraising achievements.  All current phonathon employees are eligible for this award.  Awarding of this scholarship is as follows:

• First Place - $1,000 to the student who raises the highest amount of money.
• Second Place - $750 to the student who has the highest number of gifts.
• Third Place - $500 to the student who acquires the highest number of new donors.

First Place - Jen Deluca, a junior English major, raised the most amount of money, over $52,000.

Second Place - Jordan Conklin, a junior Biology major, had the most number of gifts which raised over $40,000. 

Third Place - Amanda Winkler, a junior Biology major, had the most number of new donors and raised over $1,200. 

The Scholarship Awards are to be applied to the 2007-2008 academic year.
