J. Christopher Donahue is President and Chief Executive Officer of Federated Investors Inc., one of the nation's largest investment management and financial services companies headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

As Chairman of Federated Services Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Federated Investors that provides advanced information technology and administrative services to the mutual fund industry, Mr. Donahue orchestrates the continued growth of the subsidiary. He is also president and director of most of Federated's 120 global, international and domestic equity mutual funds, and international and domestic fixed-income funds. Mr. Donahue joined Federated in 1972 as a law clerk and in 1974 served as associate corporate counsel in Federated's Legal Department. He has been President and CEO since April 1998.

A 1971 graduate of Princeton University, Mr. Donahue graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1974. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Florida Bar Association and the Young Presidents' Organization.
