Living Life to the Fullest, a parish renewal with Fr. Scott Seethaler, O.F.M., Cap., will be held Oct. 1-5 in the Saint Vincent Basilica. Evening presentations, which will begin at 7 p.m., include: Celebrating Family Life (Oct.2), Five Paths to Spiritual Maturity (Oct. 3), A Prayer for All Seasons (Oct. 4), and Living Life to the Fullest (Oct. 5). In addition, Father Scott will be the Homilist at the weekend Masses: Saturday Oct. 1 (5 p.m.) and Sunday, Oct. 2 (6, 7:30, 9:30, and 11:30 a.m.) He will also present a Scriptural Homily after the 8 a.m. Mass on Oct. 3, 4, and 5. All events are open to the public. Internationally known Capachin-Franciscan priest, Fr. Scott Seethaler, graduated cum laude from St. Fidelis College in 1966. He was ordained a priest in 1969. Fr. Scott earned a master’s degree in Religious Education from Capuchin College and completed advanced studies in Theology and Spirituality at Duquesne University. Fr. Scott’s ministry includes authoring four books and audio tapes, publishing a quarterly newsletter, moderating his daily radio shows, conducting marriage workshops, sponsoring a medical clinic for the elderly and poor in Mexico, and reaching out through his popular web site to share the love and peace of St. Francis.
