Ballantyne's long ball in the bottom of the fifth brought SVC to within one, and the Lady Bearcats took the lead for good in the sixth, when Stock took a 2-1 offering over the centefield fence, driving in Adams who singled to lead the frame off, making the score 10-9 in favor of the hosts.

Jostalyn Klosky and Whipkey each doubled following Stock's blast, giving SVC an insurance run and closing out the scoring for the day.

SVC manufactued their lone run in the bottom of the sixth.  Rachel Komarinski doubled to the centerfield fence, advanced to second on a wild pitch, and scored on a Mollie Stock ground out.

Lady Bearcat starter Lesa Bauer was extremely effective, allowing just four hits and two unearned runs while striking out eight and walking none in six innings worked to take the hard luck loss.

Waynesburg hurler Autumn Minor was equally effective, holding SVC to just one run on three hits while striking out five to earn the win.
