The Lady Bearcats swept a doubleheader over visiting Franciscan University with a pair of shutouts.

Mollie Stock pitched a two-hitter and struck out five in game one, and the offense provided plenty of hits in the game, which was shortened to a 5-inning matchup with a final score of 11-0.

Kerstin Makowski was 2-for-2 with three runs scored and 2 RBI, while Brittany Caracci was 2-2, scored twice and drove in a pair of runs.  

It was more of the same in game two, as the 5-inning game resulted in a 14-0 Lady Bearcat win.  Just as Stock did in game one, Ashley Whipkey held the Barons to just two hits, and struck out four.

Leanna Seminksy was 3-3 with a walk and three runs scored.  Jostalyn Klosky and Shannon Ballantyne each went 3-3 with a double and a walk.  

SVC is now 22-14 on the year.
