The Lady Bearcats dropped a doubleheader in Florida to Valley City State College.

Michelle Greenawalt took the loss in game one, as SVC fell by a score of 8-2.  April Hawkey was 2-for-4 at the plate.

In game two, SVC lost a close 6-5 decision.  Shannon Ballantyne was 2-2 with a double and a walk, while Brittany Caracci was 2-4.  Leanna Seminsky was 1-3 and Rachel Komarinski doubled for SVC (3-3).  Ashley Whipkey took the loss.
