The Lady Bearcats split a low-scoring doubleheader with visiting Juniata College. After Juniata took game one by a score of 2-0, Saint Vincent rebounded with a 5-1 win in the nightcap. Mollie Stock's no-hit streak came to a close in game one, but she was still effective, striking out eight and giving up just five hits. Juniata managed to score one run in the second inning with a pair of hits, and added a solo home run in the seventh. The Lady Bearcats only had four hits, a pair of singles by Ashley Whipkey, and singles by Jostalyn Klosky and Maura Wahl. In game two, Juniata again jumped to an early 1-0 lead, but the Lady Bearcats scored five runs in support of Whipkey, who earned the pitching win. Whipkey led the offense by going 2-for-3. Wahl and Jenna Bealko recorded doubles, and Rachel Komarinski tripled. The Lady Bearcats are now 10-4 on the season, and will host Mount Aloysius College at 3:00 on Wednesday.
