Three members of the Lady Bearcat softball team have been honored by the Presidents' Athletic Conference.

A trio of sophomores, Ashley Whipkey, Rachel Komarinski and Mollie Stock, have earned PAC Coaches Awards, the equivalent of All-Conference honors.

Whipkey, from Dunbar, PA, (Connellsville HS) posted a 2.69 ERA this year, winning two games.  She struck out 53 batters in 53.2 innings.

Komarinski (Jeannette, PA/Hempfield HS) batted .337 on the season, with a team high two home runs.  

Stock (Waynesville, OH/Waynesville HS) tied Komarinski for the team lead in batting average at .337, and led the Lady Bearcats in hits (29) and runs batted in (15).  She also topped the pitching staff in ERA (2.41) and picked up four victories.

Saint Vincent is in its first year of provisional membership with the NCAA, and SVC athletes are not eligible for traditional post-season conference honors.
