Jeff Zidek has been involved in Pittsburgh sports media for 20 years.  A 1990 graduate of Saint Vincent, he returned to the college in 1995 as an adjunct faculty member, while continuing to write for numerous area newspapers and work on-air for the Meadows Racing Network, Fox Sports Net Pittsburgh and Fox Sports Radio Pittsburgh.  

In 2001, he joined the SVC administrative staff full-time, focusing on broadcasting sporting events on the campus television station.  In 2003, he moved to the Athletic Department as SID.

He is a member of CoSIDA, the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Jim Berger was a member of the varsity baseball team at SVC, graduating in 2004.  A first baseman, he played on the two winningest teams in school history, including the 2004 squad that won the AMC North Division and finished second in NAIA's Region IX.

He has worked in the sports information office since 2002, and serves as both play-by-play announcer and color commentator for SVC-TV's broadcasts of basketball, soccer and baseball.

Jim continues to play competitive baseball along with a number of former fellow Bearcats in the Fayette County wooden bat semi-pro league.  In 2007, he was named an assistant baseball coach at SVC.

He is a member of CoSIDA, the College Sports Information Directors of America, and the NCBWA, the National College Baseball Writers of America.
