Samantha Bowkley
Hello! My name is Samantha Bowkley and I will be a senior at Saint Vincent College in the fall. This is my second year as an Orientation Director and I am so excited to be involved again in the program. I am majoring in Business Management with a minor in Marketing. I am currently involved in many things at Saint Vincent and enjoy my time here a lot. This is my third year as a prefect in the upper-classmen residence hall, Gerard, I also work in the Campus Life office during the week, and I was the Chairperson of the Activities Programming Board last year. I moved to the United States from Britain in 2000 with my father’s job and have been here ever since. I graduated from Greensburg Salem High School in 2006 and my family still lives in the area.
Kate O’Toole
Hello and welcome to Saint Vincent College. My name is Kate O'Toole, and I am an Orientation Director for the 2009 Orientation Program. I am a Senior Elementary Instruction major with a minor in Psychology. I was a 2005 graduate from Deer Lakes High School located north of Pittsburgh. I am involved with a variety of clubs and organizations on campus including Event and Conference Services, Activities Programming Board (APB), Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC) and the Education Club. Saint Vincent College’s Orientation Program is unique, and it is designed to make incoming students feel welcomed into the Bearcat community. I look forward to meeting all of you in the fall.
Jimmy Wojtila
Hello my name is James Wojtila, more commonly known as Jimmy. I am from Cleveland, Ohio and am a 2007 graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls. I am the son of Jim and Mary Ann Wojtila and the older brother of Stephen and Kristen Wojtila. Next year I will be a Junior Graphic Design major with a minor in Marketing here at Saint Vincent College. I am an active member and executive board member of both Art Club and The Company, a student run musical theatre organization. With The Company I have performed in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (Baker), Cabaret 2008, Seussical the Musical (Horton), and Cabaret 2009, Tony’s With a Twist. I am also an active member of Human Rights Organization, Activities Programming Board, the freshman honors society Alpha Lambda Delta, Campus Ministry, along with being an associate member of the Best Buddies. Currently I am an evening Barista at The Gristmill Café, the campus coffee house, and I also teach drawing classes at the Latrobe Art Center for ten year olds. Recently in the Latrobe Art Centers annual Open Show I received the prize of an honorable mention for my self-portrait titled C’est Moi. I am extremely thrilled to be a Director of Orientation on this year’s team and cannot wait to welcome the class of 2013 to Saint Vincent College.
