Academic Orientation Information

Academic Orientation will take place Monday, June 9, 2008 through Thursday, June 12, 2008.  Students are asked to come on the day on their chosen major.  

**Monday, June 9, 2008 - School of Social Sciences, Communication and Education

    (Anthropology, Communication, Psychology, Sociology, Elementary Instruction)

**Tuesday, June 10, 2008 - Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government

    (Business, Business Undeclared, Economics, Political Science, and Public Policy)

**Wednesday, June 11, 2008 - Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing

    (Bioinformatics, Biology, Chemistry, Computing & Information Science, Pre-Health Professional, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Mathematics/Engineering,Natural Science Undeclared, and Physics)

**Thursday, June 12, 2008 - School of Humanities and Fine Arts

    (English, Fine Arts, History, Liberal Arts, Modern & Classical Language, Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Undeclared)

Each day will begin with registration from 8:30 - 8:55 am.  Lunch will be provided for the student and their parents.  The day will conclude with a tour of Saint Benedict Hall at 3:00 pm. 

Make-up orientation sessions will be scheduled shortly and students will be notified that will not participate in the assigned Orientation day.
