Department Overview
The Residence Life Office at Saint Vincent College is responsible for supporting the College’s mission by providing engaging and comfortable living environments for students. Living in a residence hall helps students become responsible and independent adults by providing opportunities for peer interaction, self reflection, and personal accountability. Most importantly, national research indicates that students who live on campus do better academically and have greater satisfaction with their college experience than commuter students.
On-Campus Living
Saint Vincent College takes great care to ensure
suitable housing accommodations are available for all students. Living in the residence halls is a two semester commitment. First year students who
reside more than 50 miles from SVC must live on campus. Upperclass students are encouraged to continue residing in the residence halls for the
duration of their academic studies, but may select to live off-campus. Please visit the Residence Halls and Policies pages for more information. Students will special needs should contact the Director of Residence to discuss appropriate housing options.
