On-Campus Living

Saint Vincent College takes great care to ensure that suitable on-campus housing accommodations are available for all students.  Living in the residence halls is a two semester commitment. First year students who reside more than 50 miles from SVC must live on campus. Upperclass students are encouraged to continue residing in the residence halls for the duration of their academic studies, but may select to live off-campus. Please visit the Residence Halls and Policies pages for more information. Students with special needs should contact the Director of Residence Life to discuss appropriate housing options.

Housing Accomodations at SVC

At Saint Vincent College over 1200 of the 1500 student body reside on-campus in six residence halls. Each residence hall offers varying amenities and is open to different segments of our student population. All first-year and transfer residential students are assigned housing by the Director of Residence Life. Upperclass residential students participate in a housing lottery selection process in April. Students with special needs are highly encouraged to speak with the Director of Residence Life to determine suitable housing arrangements. Please review our Policies webpage for more information.

All residence halls include lounge areas, a community television and microwave, laundry facilities, vending machines, and smoke detectors. Each student is provided with a bed frame and mattress, dresser, desk, desk chair, and closet or wardrobe.
