Welcome to Saint Benedict Hall
We are glad that you chose SVC for your college education.
Part of that educational experience is living in a residence
hall. Residence hall living can be a very rewarding and engaging
experience. Residents in Saint Benedict Hall spend a great deal of time
together and become close friends.
Move-In Information
Information will be sent in July specifying move-in procedures and times.
As you pack, be sure to write your name, pod, and room number on all of your boxes and items. This will help ensure nothing gets lost on move-in day.
We also offer an early move-in opportunity for students living close to SVC. You will receive information later in the summer. Student can apply for early move-in and approximately 100 are selected. Early move-in takes place on the Thursday prior to Saint Benedict opening. Students may move their belongings in and hook up their computer during this time, however, they will not be permitted to stay overnight in the residence hall.
Web Information System
You can use the Web Information System to access your housing assignment and roommate information.
1. Go the the Saint Vincent College website (www.stvincent.edu)
2. At the bottom of the page, click on "Web Information System"
3. Click on "For Students"
4. Username = ID Number
5. Password = Month & Year you were born (example: July 1982 password would be 782)
6. Click on "Biographical" on the left side of the page
7. Click on "Housing and Services" at the top of the Biographical page
8. You will find your housing, roommate, and roommate contact information on this page.
9. Check reguarly over the summer for changes.
Packing List
In July, new students will receive further housing information that will include a listing of suggested items to bring. Be sure to communicate with your new roommate about what he or she will be bringing and what you can share. Room space is limited so you may want to only bring the essentials when you first arrive. Then you can bring anything you might need after you see how everything fits.

Linens Program
Saint Vincent College has teamed up with On Campus Marketing to offer you quality and affordable bedding for your residence hall room. You will receive advertising materials over the summer and your order will arrive in time for move-in. While you can purchase bedding from any store, the products offered though this program serve as a fundraiser for the College and profits are used for programs and activities in the residence halls. Please note that all beds at Saint Vincent College are standard length and extra long bedding is not required.
