Welcome to Campus Life
at Saint Vincent College
The mission of Campus Life at Saint Vincent College is to promote an enjoyable environment in which students have an active role in opportunities outside the classroom through with they can develop and succeed. This mission is achieved by inviting students to aid in providing individual attention for freshmen, innovative programming for all students, student leadership programs, cultural events, nationally recognized speakers, as well as various recognized student organizations. This balanced approach to a liberal arts education combines the academic and student life while remaining true to the Catholic, Benedictine, and Liberal Arts heritage at Saint Vincent College.
Director of Campus Life
Jason M. Winters is a 2004 graduate of Saint Vincent College with a degree in Computing and Information Science. He has a Master of Arts in Higher Education from Geneva College. His career at Saint Vincent started in 2004 when he joined the Residence Life staff as the Assistant to the Director of Residence Life. Jason then became the Residence Hall Director of Gerard Hall in 2005. He was promoted to the Coordinator of Residence Life and the Residence Hall Director of Aurelius and Rooney Halls. Jason currently holds the position of Director of Campus Life. His responsibilities include overseeing the Student Government, Activities Programming Board, Office of Multicultural Student Life, The Review, Campus Clubs and Organizations, and the Leadership Program.
Coordinator of Campus Recreation
Jym Walters is the Coordinator of Campus Recreation and the Head Women's Field Hockey Coach. He is a 1996 graduate of Saint Vincent College with a degree in Sociology. He has a Master of Science in Higher Education from Florida State University. From 2001-2003 he was the Coordinator of Campus Life and the Residence Hall Director of Rooney Hall. Jym then held the position of Director of Student Activities from 2002-2004. He is currently in charge of intramurals, plans Highlander trips, and coordinates all outdoor recreation.
