Rev. Joseph Adams, O.S.B.

Rev. Joseph Adams, O.S.B. joined SVFD in 1997 following his novitiate year in the monastery.  He assumed the role of Captain his first year with the department.  Upon Br. Pay Lacey's retirement, Fr. Joe assumed the Fire Chief position in 2000.  Fr. Joe held the position of Fire Chief until 2005, when he received the calling to continue on in the seminary towards priesthood.  He stepped down to Assistant Fire Chief in order to accommodate his studies and Terry Noel stepped in as Chief.  Fr. Joe was ordained to the priesthood in May 2009. 

Fr. Joe is currently serving with the US Army.  He is working to become a US Army Chaplain and is currently stationed in Savannah, GA.  Fr. Joe has been an integral part with the SVFD.  We wish him the best of luck while serving with the US Army.
