Alcuin Hall

Built in 1964, Alcuin Hall is used for student social events, dances and recreation. It features a full glass wall that provides a dramatic view of the college athletic fields and the mountains to the east. The college’s fully-licensed day care, pre-school and kindergarten are located on the ground floor, which serves the Saint Vincent College community as well as residents of the surrounding area. Alcuin Hall was named for Blessed Alcuin, a learned Benedictine abbot who lived from 732 to 804. Today, it hosts "lip synchs," theme dances, talent shows and other creative student social activities.
