The 6th Annual Undergraduate Conference

The 6th Annual Undergraduate Conference will be held on April 22, 2009, following the Honors Convocation ceremony. Students are encouraged to participate in the conference, either by presenting their research and/or creative work, or by attending the conference. The event will begin at approximately 2 pm and end at 7 pm.

So what should I present?

• Students…Consider submitting individual research papers, research posters, or a panel that discusses the same topic or theme.
• Faculty…encourage your students to discuss their internships on a panel with their peers.
• Service Learning courses…describe the theory learned in class and the outcomes achieved through your social projects.

It's easy to submit your proposal

All students must submit their proposal electronically through the Saint Vincent website. Your work will be explained in the form of an abstract—a 150 word or less explanation of your project.

Make sure to print a hard copy of the submission form to send in housemail to Dr. Kelly if you are doing an oral presentation or to Dr. Rhodes if you are presenting a poster.

This is your opportunity to shine.

Show off your work. You’re the best expert of your own work. Be proud and confident and share your project or experience with your peers and SVC community.

The conference will be held in the Fred M. Rogers Center. Students will be notified of their presentation location approximately one week prior to the conference.
