Briana enters her first season for the Lady Bearcats after a stellar high school career.  A four-year letterwinner at libero at Northern Cambria, she was a two-time All-District and All-State selection, and also made the All-Tournament Team at the 2006 PIAA State Championships.  She was named her team's most outstanding defensive player as a senior, and participated in the Regional All-Star Match.  A two-sport athlete, Briana was also a three-year member of the school's track and field team.  The daughter of Bob and Jackie Butterworth, Briana was born 8-28-90.  She is majoring in Elementary Instruction.
