Brienne spent four years on the volleyball team at Hempfield Area HS, along with two seasons each on the basketball and track teams.

She earned All-WPIAL Honorable Mention honors in 2001 as a junior, then moved to the Third Team in 2002.

A psychology major with a minor in elementary education, Brienne is the daughter of Michael and Karen Dvorsky.
