Shannon, the daughter of Ed and Kathy McVay, competed in both volleyball and basketball in high school, and was named to the All-City Team in volleyball all four years.

Last year at Saint Vincent, she received All-American Mideast Conference Honorable Mention honors.

She is an accounting major at SVC.
