Krystal, the daughter of John and Kathy Weissert, competed in volleyball for four years at Pine-Richland HS, where she was a 2nd Team All-WPIAL selection.

In 2002, she was named the American Mideast Conference Freshman of the Year and was a 2nd Team All-Conference selection.  In 2003, she received All-AMC Honorable Mention honors.

Krystal is a biology major with a minor in mathematics who plans to become an optometrist.
