Liz, the daughter of Ed and Linda Zgorecki, was a 4-sport athlete in high school. She was a member of the volleyball team (4 years), the softball team (4 years), the basketball team (2 years) and the cross country team (1 year).

In high school, she was Volleyball MVP in 1999, earned All-Section honors in softball in 2001, and made it to the state championships in cross country in 1999. She also earned the DAR Good Citizen award.

In 2003, she received an American Mideast Conference Scholar-Athlete award.

An Art Education major, Elizabeth chose to come to Saint Vincent "because of the beautiful campus, the religious background, the liberal arts education and the opportunities available."

An Anthropology major with a minor in Sociology, Kate chose Saint Vincent "for its academic reputation as well as its athletic reputation."

Lauren, the daughter of Scott and Carol Weger, was a three-sport athlete in high school, competing on the volleyball team (4 years), the basketball team (1 year) and the track team (1 year).

Her volleyball honors include being named Best Blocker, NHS Best Offensive Player, and Best 6-2 Player. She was also named to Hubbard's Honor Team.

A Business major at Saint Vincent, Lauren chose the Latrobe, PA college because of the "atmosphere and the opportunities, along with its great business program."

Emily, the daughter of Greg and Jackie Ecoff, lettered three years on the Bethel Park volleyball team. She was named to the All-WPIAL (AAA) 2nd team in 2002, and to the AAA 3rd Team All-State the same year. She was also a volleyball Gold Medalist in the 2001 Keystone Games.

In 2003, Emily was named the American Mideast Conference North Division Freshman of the Year.

A Mathematics major at Saint Vincent, Emily chose the school "for its great academic and athletic reputation." She adds that SVC is "willing to expand by adding new buildings and renovating old ones to improve our learning environment."

Lindsay, the daughter of Bruce and Jayna Harkleroad, was a two-sport athlete in high school. In addition to volleyball, she played guard on the basketball team for four years.

On the volleyball court, Lindsay was named to the second team All-State in 2002. Her team was WPIAL runner-up that year and 2nd in the state.

A Psychology major, Lindsay chose Saint Vincent "for its small class size, nice campus and its academic and athletic reputation."

Krystal, the daughter of John and Katherine Weissert, was a member of the WPIAL championship team in 2001 from Pine-Richland. The team went on to finish 2nd in the PIAA state championships. She was a 4-year Scholar/Athlete award winner in high school.

At Saint Vincent, she was named Freshman of the Year in 2002 and made the All-Freshman All-Conference AMC squad. In 2003, she received Honorable Mention honors from the AMC.

A Biology major, Krystal selected Saint Vincent because of its "good academic status and excellent athletic programs, and its nice people."

Brienne, the daughter of Michael and Karen Dvorsky, returns to the Lady Bearcats in 2004 after missing the 2003 season due to injury.

A three-sport athlete in high school, she was a member of the volleyball, basketball and track teams. She received All-WPIAL Honorable Mention honors in 2001 and All-WPIAL Third Team honors in 2002.

She is a Psychology major with a minor in Elementary Education.

The freshman from Freeport says that Saint Vincent's campus, along with the reputation as the summer home of the Steelers, helped her to decide to come to Latrobe.

She is a communication major at Saint Vincent.

Sara, the daughter of Joe and Cheryl Pockstaller, was a three-sport athlete in high school. In addition to three years of volleyball, she played 4 years of both basketball and softball. She won a Tri-Athlete Award three years, was named to the Fayette All-County Volleyball, Basketball and Softball teams, and was nominated for the Wendy's High School Heisman Award. Her team won the section championship in softball all four seasons. Sara is also a member of the Saint Vincent softball team.

An English major, Sara came to Saint Vincent because it is "a small campus with individual attention to students, is close to home, and has a friendly environment."

Ashley, the daughter of Jay and Beth Ripple, was a three-sport athlete in high school. She was a member of the volleyball team for four years, was a guard on the basketball team for three years, and spent two seasons as the softball team's center fielder.

Her Pine-Richland volleyball team finished 2001 as the WPIAL champions and finished 2nd in the PIAA state tournament.

Ashley was also a four-year Scholar/Athlete award winner in high school.

The Chemistry major was a member of the American Mideast Conference All-Freshman team in 2002.

In 2003, she was named the American Mideast Conference North Division's Setter of the Year, as well as earning First Team All-Conference honors.

She was named to three All-Tournament teams in high school (Quigley Tournament, Moon Tournament and Conneaut Tournament), was named to the All-City District 8 team all four years, and was the Female Athlete of the Year in 2003.
