The Lady Bearcats finished the 2007 regular season with a 3-2 loss on the road against Geneva College.

SVC dropped the first two games, 30-16 and 30-22, before coming back to win the next two, 30-26 and 30-17. Geneva fought back to win the tiebreaker, 15-8.

Senior setter Kristin Hozak established two new school records, by adding 62 assists and four aces against Geneva. She now has 1,536 assists on the year, and 92 aces. Hozak also had 16 digs on the night.

Natalie Hozak recorded 34 digs and 16 kills, while Jaime Kelly had 18 kills and 19 digs. Diana Petrovich added 16 kills, Christa Calgaro recorded 21 digs, and Lauren Paddick had 7 blocks.

SVC ends the regular season with a record of 23-9, and now will await word on possible post-season play in the Eastern College Athletic Conference championships.
