Rachel, daughter of Tom and Christy Karpency, enters her second year on the Lady Bearcats.

A two sport athlete at SVC, Rachel also runs cross-country for Coach Tom Harbert. She was a point guard on her high school basketball team for four years along with a cross -country runner one year.

Rachel was selected as a member of the pittsburghchannel.com ìNothing But Netî Team, along with being named to the All-County team her junior and senior year. She was named Herald Standard Big School 2nd team, on a high school team that won their section 3 out of her four years. Rachel was also a member of both the Baldwin and Hempfield Holiday Tournament teams.

She is a history major at SVC with a minor in education.
