Janelle had a fine freshman season in 2005-06 off the bench, providing a spark on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball, and should see an increased role for the Lady Bearcats this season. 

2005-06: Appeared in 24 games off the bench, averaging 3.2 points and 1.2 rebounds while picking up 19 steals… Scored eight points, hitting a pair of three-pointers, vs. Roberts Wesleyan on Jan. 6… Exploded for career-high 21 points, hitting five from behind the arc, while adding three steals in victory over Point Park on Jan. 17… Scored six points on a pair of three-pointers in Jan. 19 win over Geneva… Tallied seven points with three steals in win over Houghton on Jan. 28… Scored nine points in 12 minutes vs. Carlow on Feb. 7.

High School: Named Second Team All-State in 2004-05 and Heritage Conference Scholar Athlete…Graduated as all-time leading scorer in Saltsburg HS history with over 1,700 career points…Also four-year sprinter and thrower on the Saltsburg track team.
