Claudia Arrunategui

Junior
Chiclayo, Peru

Claudia returns for her third season at Saint Vincent, and is looked upon to continue her solid career as a junior. She enjoyed a strong sophomore campaign in 2008, as she finished in the Lady Bearcats' top seven in six of seven meets. Her season was highlighted with a 20th-place finish (out of 100) at the 2008 Presidents' Athletic Conference championships. An honor student, the Biology major was also a 2008 pick for the PAC Academic Honor Roll.

Coach Harbert says: "Claudia should be a force for us again this year. She has shown steady improvement and consistency over the past two years, and I expect her to continue to do so."
