Tausha Varner

Senior
Homer City, PA/United

Tausha is back for her fourth season at Saint Vincent, and will serve as co-captain for the Lady Bearcats in 2009. Last season, she earned PAC Academic Honor Roll laurels, and she was in the Lady Bearcats' top-10 finishers in all seven races, highlighted with a 46th-place finish at the SVC Invitational and a 39th-place time at the Presidents' Athletic Conference championships. A graduate of United High School, she was a four-year letterwinner in both track and cross country, twice being named All-Heritage conference. The honor student is a Biology major at SVC.

Coach Harbert says: "Tausha has been a consistent runner throughout her career. Plus, she is a strong motivator, and will continue to be an excellent leader for our team."
