Brenda returns for her second season for the Lady Bearcats after transferring from Carlow University.  She was a consistent performer a season ago for the Lady Bearcats, with her season highlighted by a 51st-place finish (28:29) in the Westminster 6K, and a 25:00 finish in the SVC Invitational.  A graduate of Moon HS, she was a four-year letterwinner in both track and cross country, earning the school's Scholar Athlete award following her senior season.   A strong student at SVC, she is a double major in both Mathematics and Physics.

Coach Harbert says:  "Brenda showed improvement throughout last season, and I expect her again to be a consistent member of our team in 2009."
