Lady Bearcat head coach Tom Harbert has announced that Olean, NY native Carrie DiRisio will attend Saint Vincent College beginning this fall, and she plans on running cross country at the school. 

DiRisio, currently a senior at Olean Senior High School, has been a three-year letterwinner on the school's varsity cross country team,  and served as captain of the squad this past fall.  She has been a four-time selection to the Scholar Athlete Team, and won the team's Sportsmanship Award in 2006.

DiRisio is a member of the National Honor Scoeity, and participated in Model United Nations in all four of her years in high school.  She also volunteers at both the Olean General Hospital and the Olean Children's Theater.  She is a member of Saint Mary of the Angel's Catholic Church, where she is an altar server.
