Maryellen enters her third season for the Lady Bearcats, and emerged as a top offensive force in 2007, scoring four goals and adding an assist.  She also should provide key leadership to the young squad.  A two-sport athlete at Woodland Hills HS, she lettered in both field hockey and tennis.  Born 11-13-87, she is the daughter of Joseph and Joanne Baverso, while her sister Natalie is a 2005 graduate of Saint Vincent.  An honor student, Maryellen is majoring in English with a minor in Secondary Education.
