A two-year starter, Judy returns for her third season on defense for the Lady Bearcats in 2008.  She's been a very valuable defender for SVC in each of the past two seasons, as the 2007 squad allowed two or less goals 12 times.  A two-sport athlete at SVC, she is also a member of the Lady Bearcat lacrosse team in the spring.  At St. Mary's Ryken HS, she participated in three sports, as she was a two-time all-conference selection in field hockey, and also played lacrosse and softball.  Born 3-10-88, Judy is the daughter of Joe and Ada Spelz.  She is majoring in Chemistry, while minoring in Spanish.
