Independent Championship Tournament schedule announced

The schedule for the 2009 Independent Field Hockey Championship tournament, in which the Lady Bearcats will participate, has been announced.

Hosted by Wilson College, the two-day, four team tourney will be held Saturday, Nov. 1st and Sunday, Nov. 2nd.

The Lady Bearcats have drawn the third seed, and will face host Wilson on Saturday at 2pm, the second game of the day. In the tourney opener, top-seeded Frostburg State will take on Wells College beginning at 11am.

On Sunday, the winners of the two opening day matches will face off in the 1pm championship game. The consolation game will take place at 10am Sunday.
