Lady Bearcats fall to Seton Hill

The Lady Bearcats were defeated on the road 8-0 by Seton Hill University. Seton Hill, rated 12th in NCAA Division-II, put together a strong offensive attack throughout the game, out-shooting the Lady Bearcats 29-2 and posting 13 penalty corners to SVC's one. The Griffins scored six goals over the first 25 minutes of play, and coasted down the stretch. Jackie Novak and Bridget Harner split time in goal for SVC, with Novak tallying eight saves over the first half, and Harner a career-high 10 over the final 35 minutes. With the loss, the Lady Bearcats fall to 4-6 on the season. The team returns to action on Wednesday, traveling to Grove City College for a night game beginning at 7pm.
