The Lady Bearcats opened their season with a victory over Seton Hill at Glengarry Links.

The final score was 282-382.

Natalie Caratelli had the top score on the day, shooting an 88 for the Lady Bearcats.  Teammates Taylor Bianco and Marlie Strosnider shot 90 and 104, respectively.

The Lady Bearcats lost a close match to Grove City Collge at Glengarry Golf Links, falling by just six strokes, 412-406.

Natalie Caratelli shot a 93 to lead the way for SVC (1-1).  Taylor Bianco and Marlie Strosnider each shot 98, while Shanon Bridge shot 123.

Two members of the Lady Bearcats finished in the top 10 in the PAC Championships at Oak Tree Country Club.

Natalie Caratelli finished in 7th place overall, shooting 96 on day one of the scheduled two-day event.  Marlie Strosnider tied for 10th in the field of 24, at 106.

The second round of competition was canceled due to rain. 

For her efforts, Caratelli was named a PAC Coaches Award winner, the equivalent of an All-Conference Award.  SVC student-athletes are not eligible for traditional conference awards due to the school's provisional status as a first-year NCAA member. 

The Lady Bearcats ended their season by competing at the Southpointe Invitational hosted by Washington & Jefferson.

Taylor Bianco led the way for SVC, finishing in a tie for fifth with a 102 overall (53 front nine/49 back nine).  Teammate Marlie Strosnider posted the tenth best score of the day, with a 115 (56/59), while Natalie Caratelli turned in a score of 116 (60/56). 

A total of 27 golfers participated in the event, representing five colleges, including W&J, Mercyhurst, Grove City, Westminster, and Mercyhurst in addition to SVC.

W&J took the overall team title, with a combined score of 388 (+88), while Presidents' golfer Leslie Walker took the individual gold with a score of 88.
