The Lady Bearcats hosted five other colleges at the 2009 Saint Vincent Lady Bearcat Invitational at Glengarry Links. Saint Vincent finished in fourth place, with a team cumulative score of 467. Stacy Shirer led the squad with a score of 110, while Marlie Strosnider finished with a 113, Ciara Moran 119, and Sara Stefanik 125. Washington & Jefferson earned the team title, with a cumulative score of 358. The Presidents' were led by Leslie Walker, who took the individual championship with a final score of 85. Teammate Alison Lazorchak finished right behind her, with an 86. Grove City finished second, with a score of 383, while Westminster took third (436), led by Pam Bonneau's second-place score of 86. Pitt-Johnstown followed the Lady Bearcats, taking fifth with a score of 469, while Salem International finished sixth. The Lady Bearcats will now return to action on Tuesday, when they begin play in the two-day Presidents' Athletic Conference championships, hosted by Oak Tree Golf Club near Sharon, PA.
