The Lady Bearcats hosted seven other colleges at the 2009 Lady Bearcat Invitational at Glengarry Golf Links. SVC finished sixth out of eight teams, with a cumulative team score of 492. Stacy Shirer led the Lady Bearcats, taking 23rd individually, with a score of 119. Teammate Kayla Craig finished right behind Shirer, tallying a 122, while Natalie Schade finished by shooting 123 and Ciara Moran 128. The team title was won by Franklin and Marshall College, with a cumulative score of 351, one stroke lower than second-place Gettysburg. Westminster finished third (367), followed by Seton Hill (385), Pitt-Johnstown (466), SVC, West Virginia Wesleyan (512), and Point Park (618). Gettysburg's Leah Tuscano took the individual title, with a score of 83, while there was a three-way tie for second, as Grace Gallagher and Meghan Maloney, both of Franklin and Marshall, as well as Westminster's Anne Opaska, shot 84. The Lady Bearcats return to action on September 29th, taking part in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships at Oak Tree Country Club.
