The Lady Bearcats kicked off the 2008 regular season with a second place finish at the Washington & Jefferson College Southpointe Invitational.

Natalie Caratelli led SVC individually with a score of 94, good for third place overall.  Taylor Bianco finished in fourth, with a score of 97, while Marlie Strosnider took eighth place and Sara Stefanik 20th.  As a team, SVC finished with a score of 453 at the event held at Southpointe. 

Washington & Jefferson took the team title with a score of 375, led by first place finisher Leslie Walker, who shot an 85.  Westminster finished in third, with a score of 462, Geneva fourth (480), and Waynesburg fifth (617).
