Sam returns for her fourth season, and will again anchor the defense.  She started 11 games in 2008.

She was a three-year player on the Greater Latrobe HS team under Coach Jym Walters prior to coming to Saint Vincent.

Born 5-6-87, she is the daughter of Andrew and Barb Suranic, and is a Psychology major at SVC with a minor in Sociology.
