Wittenberg jumped to a 9-2 lead at the half, but SVC settled down, tying the host school 2-2 in the second. Laura Fedor scored twice for SVC, while Lauren Eller and Jenna Moon added one goal each. Meredith Ruffing recorded an assist. Erica Lisi started in goal and had a 52% save percentage.

The Lady Bearcats played well against a tough Denison team, falling by a score of 9-7. Saint Vincent trailed 4-3 at the half and tied the game 6-6 with just 20 minutes remaining, but were unable to hold off Denison on the road. Jenna Moon scored three goals to lead the offense. Sarah Peranteau, Megan Sekinger, Meghan Noonan and Laura Fedor also scored goals. Fedor and Lauren Eller each recorded an assist, while Candy Decker had a 52% save percentage in the net.

The Saint Vincent Lady Bearcats dropped a 17-16 decision to Indiana University of Pennsylvania in double overtime on the road. SVC trailed by four goals late in regulation, but stormed back, cutting the margin to 15-14. This set the stage for freshman Cassie Alberding, who scored with :06 remaining in regulation to send the game to overtime. The teams battled through a scoreless first overtime period, but IUP managed to outscore SVC by a 2-1 margin in the second extra frame. Jenna Moon led the Lady Bearcat offense with six goals, followed by Lauren Eller (4) and Meredith Ruffing (3). Laura Fedor, Sarah Peranteau and Alberding each scored once. Assists were recorded by Katie McLaughlin and Fedor. Candy Decker recorded a 51% save percentage in the cage.

Senior Katie McLaughlin scored five goals to lead the Lady Bearcats to a 16-9 victory over Seton Hill University on the road in Greensburg. Jenna Moon and Lauren Eller added three goals each, while Meredith Ruffing scored twice for Saint Vincent (1-2). Laura Fedor, Sarah Peranteau and Cassie Alberding added one goal each for SVC. Assists were recorded by Peranteau (2), McLaughlin and Moon. Candy Decker and Erica Lisi shared duties in goal on the day. Decker recorded a 58% save percentage in the first half, while Lisi saved 60% of the shots she faced in the second. Saint Vincent led 12-5 at the half.

The Saint Vincent Lady Bearcats held off a late charge by host Kenyon College to win by a score of 12-10. SVC jumped to a 6-1 halftime lead, but Kenyon eventually tied the game, 8-8 in the second half. A goal by senior Katie McLaughlin gave the Lady Bearcats a 9-8, but Kenyon again tied the game shortly thereafter. Later goals by Sarah Peranteau, McLaughlin and Meghan Noonan put Saint Vincent ahead to stay. Jenna Moon topped all SVC scorers with three goals and an assist. Noonan tallied two goals and an assist on the day, while McLaughlin, Peranteau and Meredith Ruffing each scored twice. Lauren Eller recorded a goal and an assist. Erica Lisi recorded a 68% save percentage in goal, while Ruffing caused six turnovers and recorded 3 ground ball controls. Rayshell Clipper had four draw controls on the afternoon.

Ohio Wesleyan University, the #1 team in the North Coast Conference, defeated the visiting Lady Bearcats by a score of 14-7. SVC got off to a fast start, thanks to goals from Katie McLaughlin and Lauren Eller, then held the lead through the first 15 minutes of the game. OWU then fought back and eventually took a 6-4 lead into the half. The Lady Bearcats played well, but were unable to mount a comeback. McLaughlin and Eller each scored three goals, while Jenna Moon added one. Laura Fedor recorded one assist. Erica Lisi saved 55% of the shots she faced in goal, while Eller and Sarah Peranteau each recorded 5 ground ball controls. Mary Connolly caused three turnovers and had two inteceptions, while Fedor added two interceptions.

The Saint Vincent Lady Bearcats could not overcome a three-goal halftime deficit, falling to Mercyhurst College by a final of 10-8 in the season's first home game. Mercyhurst jumped to a 5-2 halftime lead, before an improved second-half Lady Bearcat squad took to the field. Saint Vincent started the half by scoring four goals while shutting down Mercyhurst, but the visitors responded and retook the lead, going on the victory. Meredith Ruffing scored three goals for the Lady Bearcats, while Jenna Moon and Lauren Eller added two each. Moon and Eller each had an assist. Candy Decker recorded a 56% save percentage in goal. It took two overtimes to do so, but the Lady Bearcats were able to defeat the visiting Allegheny Gators 10-9.
Coach Tom Harbert's squad jumped out to a 4-2 lead at the half, but Allegheny outscored the Lady Bearcats 6-4 in the second frame to tie the game up at eight. Both teams scored once in the first overtime, but the Lady Bearcats scored the game's final goal in the second extra session to earn the victory.
Jenna Moon, Katie McLaughlin, and Laura Fedor each scored twice for the victors, while Lauren Eller, Meghan Noonan, Sarah Peranteau, and Meredith Ruffing added a goal apiece. Moon also tallied two assists on the afternoon.
Freshman Erica Lisi performed well between the pipes, stopping 56 percent of the shots that she faced.
