Saint Vincent women's lacrosse coach Tom Harbert has announced that Jennifer Forsyth will attend the college in the fall, and plans on joining the Lady Bearcat lacrosse squad. Forsyth, a goalie, is a native of Petoskey, MI, and currently attends Petoskey HS. She spent three years at Culber Academy in Culver, IN, and racked up a number of accolades both on and off the field during her high school career. She was been a three-year starter in goal at Culver, and her teams made the state playoffs in each of her seasons, culminating with a 2007 state championship. She is also a member of Indy Girls Lacrosse, a club team based in Indianapolis, IN. Following the season, she received the team's Leadership and Teamwork Award, given to the player who best exemplifies a leader and leads the team to a higher level of play and sportsmanship.
Forsyth was also the starting goalie on the Culver girl's soccer team, which won its section in 2006 and took second place regionally. Forsyth is also an excellent student, receiving a National Scholar award following her junior year, and she received the school's Silver Academic Award in all three of her years at Culver.
