Lady Bearcat head coach Tom Harbert has announced Pittsburgh native Alyssa Lang will attend Saint Vincent beginning this fall, and plans on playing lacrosse.

A native of Pittsburgh and the daughter of Jill and Peter Lang, Alyssa is preparing to graduate from Seton LaSalle High School, where she has been a three-year starter on the lacrosse field, earning All-Section honors in 2008. A two-sport athlete, she was also a four-year letterwinner and All-Section pick in soccer.

Harbert is excited for Lang to begin her career at Saint Vincent.

"Alyssa will definitely enhance our offense next season," Harbert said.  "She's very athletic, and has had an excellent high school career. I don't think it will take her very long at all to make the transition to the college game."
