Lady Bearcat head coach Tom Harbert has announced that Seton LaSalle High School's Megan Kelly will attend Saint Vincent beginning this fall, and plans on continuing her lacrosse career as a Lady Bearcat. Kelly, a native of South Park, PA, has been a three-year starter and letterwinner for the Seton LaSalle Rebels, playing both midfield and attack, helping guide the squad to an appearance in the 2009 WPIAL playoffs. She has also been involved in a number of different activities while attending Seton LaSalle, including National Honor Society, and Rebels for Life, while she has been a volunteer for the Girl's Scouts, St. Katharine Drexel School, Nativity School, and the Pittsburgh Food Bank. An excellent student, she was a recipient of the Bishop Donald Wuerle Scholarship for all four of her years at Seton LaSalle. Kelly is the latest in a string of student-athletes from Seton LaSalle who have continued their lacrosse careers at Saint Vincent, including current Lady Bearcats Anne Roslonski and Meghan Reiser. Harbert is eager for Kelly to begin her career at SVC, saying "she has an opportunity to be an impact player for us right away. She's a strong player, and should enhance our program for the next four years. It's also going to be nice to see her rejoin her high school teammates on the field at Saint Vincent."
