The Lady Bearcats lost a road game to Indiana University of PA, by a score of 13-9. Saint Vincent scored the game's first two goals, with both Michelle Moss and Liz Louison finding the net in the game's first three minutes. IUP tied the game at 2-2 with 15:48 left in the half, but SVC retook the lead with a Kelly Naugle goal just 11 seconds later. Naugle added another goal later in the half, but IUP outscored Saint Vincent 5-1 over the final 15 minutes to take a 7-4 lead at the half. The game remained close thanks to goals from Louison, Emily Fedor and Lauren Martino, then a goal by Sarah Peranteau closed the gap to 10-8 with 14:45 remaining in the second half. Just over a minute later, Louison scored her third goal of the game to make it a one-goal margin, but IUP kept Saint Vincent off the scoreboard for the final 13:40, posting three goals of their own en route to a 13-9 win. IUP outshot Saint Vincent 33-17 on the day. Goalie Erica Lisi recorded 10 saves in the net for Saint Vincent (1-4). IUP improved to 1-5 with the win. SVC returns to action on Tuesday at Frostburg State in Maryland.
