Three Lady Bearcat have recently been honored by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association for their work in the classroom.

Seniors Laura Fedor and Bethany Evans, as well as junior Samantha Suranic, have all been named to the 2007 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.  A total of 410 student-athletes from all three NCAA divisions were honored, including 187 players from 76 different Division-III schools.

In addition, the Lady Bearcats as a team were one of 38 NCAA Division-III teams honored by the IWLCA for their academic performance.

Fedor, a native of Latrobe, PA and graduate of Greater Latrobe HS, majored in education/psychology.  Evans, who hails from Gibsonia, PA and Pine-Richland HS, graduated with a Biology degree.  Suranic, another Latrobe native, is majoring in Psychology.

The 2007 Lady Bearcats, under the guidance of coach Tom Harbert, posted a 7-4 record, best in the 11-year history of women's lacrosse at Saint Vincent.
