The Lady Bearcats nearly pulled off an upset against top Northeast Conference team Ohio Wesleyan, falling 17-14.

SVC held the early 5-2 advantage, but OWU fought back to take an 11-8 lead into the halftime break.  The Lady Bearcats then played OWU evenly in the second half, with each team scoring six goals.

SVC's Lauren Eller had an 8-point day, with four goals and four assists.  Sarah Peranteau also had four goals, while Cassie Alberding scored three times and Liz Louison had two goals.  Megan Sekinger had a goal and two assists for SVC (6-5).

Erica Lisi had a 41% save percentage and took the loss in the net.

SVC will conclude the regular season on Tuesday afternoon at Seton Hill University.  Game time is 4PM.
