Saint Vincent women's lacrosse coach Tom Harbert has announced that recent Yough High School graduate Ashley O'Bradovich will attend Saint Vincent beginning this fall, and intends on playing for the Lady Bearcats. O'Bradovich, a native of Rillton, PA, played four seasons of lacrosse at the midfield and attack positions for the Yough Cougars, earning three letters, as well as All-WPIAL honors in 2008. She served as team captain as a senior, and received Yough's 2009 Hustle Award and the 2007 and 2008 Coaches Choice Award. In addition to her strong performance on the field, O'Bradovich was also a stellar student, graduating in the top 10 percent of her class, while being a two-year member of the National Honor Society and receiving the Science Leadership Award from the United States Navy. The daughter of David and Donna O'Bradovich, Ashley intends on majoring in Chemistry at SVC. "Ashley will be a very nice addition for our program," said Harbert. "She has strong stick skills and is a very good shooter. That, combined with her size, should help her adjust quickly from the high school game to the college game. She's a nice fit for us."
